has to offer. The New River in Giles
County is God's perfect natural attraction
and it is a great place to let your church group
or youth group enjoy God's creation. We have been blessed with an incredible opportunity to serve Him through the use of the beautiful New River.

At New River’s Edge, our ministry is directed toward christian youth education, fellowship, stewardship and becoming good servants. The New River is the perfect atmosphere for teaching youth the importance of building lasting and enduring relationships.
Using fun, adventure and nature as our tools, we encourage youth to buddy up for safety, watch each others backs, and share the load, learning both teamwork and the power of servant leadership.
We also teach respect for nature and how good stewards of God’s creations will be
blessings for generations to come.

Our facility is ideally set up for vacation bible school, revival, baptisms, youth fellowship, retreats -and of course fun!
Bring your muscial instruments and sing praises to the Lord. Our 1500 sq. ft. shelter has electricty, lights and a concrete floor. DJ's are also available and will play any music you request and bring.
Baptisms - We've been blessed indeed!
Witnessing the salvation of a young adult is indeed a blessing. Having the ideal setting to offer such an opportunity to one or the masses is a goal and purpose. We've been so richly blessed here at "The Edge" to serve Christ in that manner.
Here are a few recent pictures taken of just such an occasion. Hearing testimony and sharing our own made this day a memory to last us a lifetime. We extend our gratitude to the church for including us in such a joyous occasion.
Youth Groups -
Siler Youth out of Matthews, North Carolina joined us for a day on the river to relax after their hard work in the Peterstown, WV area. We enjoyed their visit and appreciate their dedication to serving others.
The relaxing and exclusive atmosphere here at NRE offers everyone the opportunity to try their hand at kayaking, canoeing and tubing or to just kick back for a while and listen to the birds sing. |
